Agricoltura Biodinamica - Vini Biodinamici

OUR VINEYARDS

All of our newly planted vineyards have been made with wooden poles and nylon wires to avoid any electrostatic or chemical pollution from iron and zinc. The drainage has been built with the ancient method of the stones covered by rods that guarantees the life and naturalness of the system.

The old vineyards have not been modified in their structure and retain the planting of old times and subsequent additions and repairs with columns of cement, steel and wood giving a particular variegated and ancient appearance.

Why should we plant and make wine only from native vines, rather than with the better known international varieties?

Of all wine-making countries, Italy boasts the largest number of native vine varieties – most of them unknown even to the Italians themselves. This incredibly rich biodiversity is something unique in the wine world, and if it were in French hands, it would be flaunted as a feature worthy of national pride.

Regrettably though, here in Italy it goes largely unnoticed, and in fact we even go as far as to plant international vines. ...>
